Call him a Dreamweaver.

Brent Weaver is the third generation of his family to own and operate Weaver Lumber in the Redding area.  Brent worked at the lumberyards from the summer after 8th grade until he went away to college at Brigham Young University (BYU) in Provo, Utah.  He returned home over 15 years ago to raise his family and continue the family legacy at Weaver Lumber.

While growing the family lumber business from 12 employees to over 50 today, Brent has been active in improving his community.  He recently finished a four-year term on Redding’s city council where he served as Mayor in 2017.  Brent’s passion has always been centered around a safe community to visit or raise your family in, while creating greater economic opportunities for all.

Brent has been a leader with the Boy Scouts of America and is a former board member of One Safe Place and Mercy Foundation North. He has been active in youth sports for the past 10 years, coaching at all levels, currently coaching JV Football for his alma mater Shasta High School.

In addition to being a business owner and respected public servant Brent is a devoted family man. He and his wife, Leanne, have four young children and are committed to making Redding a great place to raise one’s family and operate a business.
